How does it work?
Our beginners class is designed for children who are new to digital art and animation and have little to no experience in this field. The class is suitable for children between the ages of 8 and 18 years old and will be held once a week, with each session lasting 1.5 hours. Parents are welcome to join the class for free and can use another laptop to participate.

We use open-sourced software for our class. You can download them online for free.
Classes outline

PART I
Digital Arts Fundamentals & Animation Basics
3 months
Students will learn:

Colour theory
-
Shapes and compositions
-
Design principles
-
How to use digital drawing tablets to create sketches and illustrations

Basic animations
By the end of this, students will have a solid foundation in digital art and be able to create their own original artwork using the techniques they have learnt.

PART II
Animation Principles
6 months
Students will learn:

Keyframes, timing

Animation principles.
-
They will also learn how to use various animation software to create simple animations.
By the end of this semester, students will have a basic understanding of animation and be able to create short animated clips using the skills they have learned.

PART III
Advanced Techniques
Students will learn:

3D modelling
-
Character rigging
-
Other animation techniques

By the end of this semester, students will have a deep understanding of tools, techniques and styles used by professional digital artists and animators
